Venum has successfully launched into the Karate market. In collaboration with some of the biggest names in the international Karate scene.

The Venum Elite Team has in its ranks athletes from around the globe who are leaders in their category.

On the South American continent, Venezuelan Antonio Diaz , Kata world champion was one of the first to join the ranks of the new Venum team.


He is known for having won three bronze medals, a silver medal at the world championships in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 and gold at the 2010 world championships in men’s individual Kata. He also won several titles at the Pan American Karate Championships.

In North America, Tom Scott is the official representative of the brand as a Pan American Champion Kumite -75kg category.


Tom Scott is a frequent winner in the United States often winning first place on most of the Pan American tournaments. It is also ranked 4th in the world by the WKF.

Venum has sponsored the karateka Lyoto Machida for a long time, who is also the former champion Light Heavy Weight of the UFC.


Mixed Martial Arts practitioner at the highest level, Lyoto Machida has practiced Karate since his childhood under the guidance of his father Yoshizo, he earned his black belt at the age of 13 years. Lyoto is now black belt 3rd dan Shotokan Karate and about to create a new type of karate, “Machida Karate“.

In Europe, The Turk Enes Erkan , world heavyweight champion Kumite is also part of Venum athletes.


Enes Erkan ranked first in 2013 in the Kumite + 84kg category at the European Championships in Budapest in 2013. In 2014 he became world champion Kumite at the World Championships in Bremen, Germany.

Venum is also very active on the French stage and sponsors many French athletes. They retain the world champions vices Kata Sandy Scordo (female category) and Minh Dack (male category) and the world champion Kumite -84kg, Kenji Grillon .
